True Potential celebrates £200,000 charity milestone.

Written by Ben Maddison on Jun 13th, 2024 Time to read: 1 minute

We were delighted to take part in Newcastle United Foundation’s Play on the Pitch day at St James’ Park last Friday in recognition of reaching £200,000 in donations to the charity.

Supported by Newcastle United Football Club, the Foundation provides meaningful opportunities to improve the lives of thousands of children, teenagers, adults, families, and older generations.

They use the region’s passion for football to make a difference and help people achieve their goals. Through education, sport, personal development, and wellbeing programmes, the Foundation helps everyone to be more active, learn new skills and feel happier and healthier.

This is our third year in partnership together, but we have been working closely with the charity through both True Potential and the Harrison Foundation since 2017.

In 2022, the Harrison Foundation created one of its flagship Harrison Centres for Social Mobility specialising in digital skills at the Newcastle United Foundation’s state-of-the-art community hub.

Our further fundraising activities have since helped reach the incredible amount of £200,000 in donations to the Foundation, and the Play on the Pitch day provided the perfect opportunity for some of the team at True Potential to have fun and celebrate this charitable milestone.

Most importantly, however, it delivered the chance to find out more about the fantastic community work they do as we continue our partnership together.
