True Potential raised over £7,000 for Newcastle Hospitals Charity.

Each month True Potential support a new charity and throughout the month of April, we dedicated our efforts to supporting the Newcastle Hospital Charity.

Through support of our staff, we are thrilled to announce that we successfully raised an impressive £7,146 for this great cause.

The Newcastle Hospital Charity are the official charity for Newcastle Hospitals, which includes the Royal Victoria Infirmary (including Great North Children’s Hospital), the Freeman Hospital, the Northern Centre for Cancer Care and many more community services. They are one of the largest Teaching Trusts in the UK, with over 16,000 staff who support 6,000 patient contacts each day.

The charity is committed to making a significant positive impact on the Newcastle Hospitals. Their mission encompasses providing essential support to the hospital staff, patients, and the broader community. Through their fundraising efforts, they can support compassionate and innovative healthcare, education and research for staff, patients, families and wider communities of Newcastle Hospitals.

The charity funds an array of crucial medical initiatives, ranging from cutting edge cancer research, to innovative medical equipment and ward refurbishments.

The money we have raised will be put towards a sensory trolley at The Great North Children’s Hospital to support patients with complex needs who are unable to leave their cubicles. The trolley stimulates these children by providing disco lights, bubble machines and tactile objects.
