Can I transfer a Child Trust Fund (CTF) into a Junior ISA?

Yes, in April 2015, the government introduced the option to convert a Child Trust Fund into a Junior ISA. Anyone who had opened a CTF has been able to either keep paying into the same fund, up to £9,000 a year, switch the existing account to a new provider, or transfer the savings into a Junior ISA.

With investing your capital is at risk. Investments can fluctuate in value, and you may get back less than you invest. ISA eligibility applies.
